A startling video has been making the rounds online showing militants from the terrorist organization ISIS stripping hostages down to their underwear before forcing them to march to their own execution. The 250 men were captured from Taqba air base. ISIS captured the Syrian base on Sunday, gaining access to warplanes, helicopters, tanks, artillery and ammunition in the process.

ISIS has been known to film their mass executions and beheadings for propaganda material. This newest footage comes as another piece of evidence in a string of material showing the war crimes committed at the hands of these radical Islamists.

The men in the video, which is too graphic to be shown in full, were shot, then piled on top of one another, their bloodied bodies strewn in heaps on the dirt. The video’s description on YouTube claims that the men were Army officers and Nusayri people, a significant minority of Shia Muslims in Syria.

A fighter for the Islamic State has confirmed that the men in the video were executed.

Indeed, the brutality of the Islamic State seems to have no boundaries. They have even published glossy magazines full of pictorials showing mutilated bodies, which they distribute in the West. This is an effort to insight fear in the militant group’s enemies as well as to gain momentum by recruiting new followers. ISIS has ample financial backing to pursue these endeavors.

Their efforts appear to be paying off, as 500 British men have been reported to have joined ISIS in Iraq and Syria, along with a handful of Americans.

It’s hard to imagine living in a region where this sort of slaughter is normal. ISIS must be stopped immediately. Tell us how you think Obama should deal with this scum in the comments section.
