Girls In Booty Shorts Forced To Bend Over For Dress Code Check

An Oklahoma superintendent has come under fire for the way she handled dress code violations during the first week of school. Instead of giving inappropriately dressed girls detention or making them change into something more suitable, Ronda Bass called them “skanks” and made them bend over in front of their classmates.
Parents are outraged over Bass’ controversial disciplinary action and have filed a petition on change.org to have her step down from her position as superintendent.

The story Bass is telling regarding the allegations is much different than the one which her students are relaying. “She told us to go out into the hallway and I actually watched her ask one of my classmates to bend over so she could see how short her shorts are,” student Sophie Stephens remarked.
After witnessing an alarming number of scantily clad students on the first day of school, Bass called an assembly to discuss the matter. “She’s like, ‘Have any of you guys seen anybody around here dressed like a skank?’” said Katelynn Hill, a student who was present. “[Bass said] ‘If you can feel your skin on the bleachers then you’re showing your ass. And I don’t want to see anybody’s ass hanging out of their shorts.’”
Bass maintains that any derogatory names which were used by her were only to illustrate what her female students were being called by students from other schools. Even if that is the case, she certainly could have found a more classy route to go about educating her students about dressing modestly.
“The question that I asked the girls at the beginning of the meeting was ‘How many of you here in the audience today believe that we have young ladies on the campus today that are not following dress code?’” Bass told a local news outlet. “I knew that students from other towns were calling our girls really negative names. The message I wanted to send to them was I don’t want them to be called those names. I want us to be known as the classy lady Bears. If you’re not comfortable with bending over, we might have a problem,” Bass said.
