As Liberal ideology continues to infect our once great and powerful nation it seems that its talons are beginning to set in. Despite it being around for 77 years, the team name of the Washington Redskins has recently come under fire as it has been deemed racist, not by Indians, but idiot liberals swooning over tolerance.

The most recent development in idiocy comes from U.S. District Judge Peter J. Messitte of Maryland who has recently declared the use of the word “Redskins” as being banned from his courtroom. While presiding over a case involving the team, the judge wrote, “Pro Football’s team is popularly known as the Washington ‘Redskins,’ but the Court will refrain from using the team name unless reference is made to a direct quote where the name appears.”

Instead, he explains everyone shall refer to the Redskins as, “the Washington Team,” from here on out.

According to the Washington Post:

The note comes months after Messitte — who was born in D.C. and attended Bethesda-Chevy Chase high school — ordered attorneys in the case not to use the team’s name in his courtroom, according to one of the lawyers.

Given the times we live you’d think that there would actually have to be someone offended in order for changes to be made. Instead, this seems to be about Liberals making a point rather than racism, but what do you guys think?

Do we really need to make something out of nothing just to prove how good we are as people or does it only make us appear more hypocritical in the end? Let us know your thoughts on this in the comments below.
