The Painfully Awkward Moment Obama Asks Cashier If He’s Gay

The discussion whether or not homosexual marriage is acceptable is far from over as Christian roots still run strong through our nation. Most recently, a gay activist – and self-described comedian – said something rather obscene and surprisingly got a fist bump from Obama.

It all happened at Franklin Barbecue in Austin, Texas – you know, the place where Obama jumped to the front of a 5-hour wait long, offered to pay for their meals, and then proceeded to ask if his credit card would work when it came time to pay – where Obama stopped for some food. Daniel Rugg Webb, 32, handed Obama his $300 receipt to sign, the outwardly gay man decided to express his First Amendment rights.

Without warning, Webb slapped his hand on the counter and exclaimed, “Equal rights for gay people!” Thrown back by the sudden statement, Obama responded by asking, “Are you gay?” It seems as though Webb wasn’t quite expecting the response he got, as after a moment he replied in turn, “Only when I’m having sex!”

As crude as the joke was, Obama found himself laughing, and after looking around and seeing the several children about, said, “Not in front of the kids!” Of course, Obama wasn’t going to let his appreciation, or one of those pesky photo-ops just pass on by, so he decided to give the man a resounding fist bump.

Now Obama has made it clear time and time again, that in order to ensure he remains in power, he’ll do just about anything – including changing his beliefs. After all, back when he was just a lowly Senator, he outwardly made his disapproval of homosexual marriage extremely clear.

What do you guys think of this – was Obama’s laughter and fist bump appropriate? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
