Even prior to getting re-elected, many on the right were calling for the impeachment of President Obama due to his lack of regard for the law and blatant disrespect for our Constitution. Ever since 1012, Obama has taken a turn to the far left and moved to act unilaterally on many issues that should require congressional approval, which has been widely unpopular and caused many prominent lawmakers to jump on board with forcibly removing him from office.

Americans have grown outraged over Obama’s increasing use of executive actions to sidestep the law on issues like immigration and pollution regulations, his releasing five terrorists for the exchange of Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, ramming Obamacare down our throats, and deliberate polarization of our nation for political gain. Because of his actions, the impeachment drums are being beaten louder than ever as conservatives across the nation grow increasingly frustrated at the president’s lack of respect for the rule of law.

Former representative and retired veteran Allen West wrote on his website in June, “I submit that Barack Hussein Obama’s unilateral negotiations with terrorists and the ensuing release of their key leadership without consult – mandated by law – with the U.S. Congress represents high crimes and misdemeanors, an impeachable offense.”

In that same month, Republicans in South Dakota passed a resolution that calls for Obama’s impeachment due to violating “his oath of office in numerous ways,” as a “shot across the bow” to both Obama and Congress that “nobody is above the law.”

The delegate who sponsored the resolution, Dr. Allen Unruh, said that their goal was to “embolden” Congress, and that he has a “thick book of impeachable offenses.”

Just last year Rep. Steve Stockman, a Texas Republican, reportedly gave all members of the House copies of the book “Impeachable Offenses: The Case For Removing Barack Obama From Office,” by Aaron Klein and Brenda Elliot.

Another recently published book by Andrew McCarthy titled “Faithless Execution: Building the Case for Obama’s Impeachment,” offers members of Congress a template for impeaching Obama.

To top it all off, House Speaker John Boehner is filing a lawsuit against the President for his lawlessness and abuses of power. However Boehner has clarified that the suit will not be a prelude to impeaching Obama, but rather a means to put him in check for the remainder of his term.

Regardless of whether nor not Obama will be impeached one thing remains clear, he’s without a doubt the most reckless president the nation has ever seen and the damage he’s done to our country will take years to repair.
