In a truly shocking notion, a teacher recently announced to a crowd the reason in which he helped create the common core curriculum was because he was a, “white male” who had been “given a lot of privilege that I didn’t earn.” Fortunately the entire occurrence was caught on tape as the crowd broke out in laughter over the man’s pathetic and saddening heart-warming attempt.

You have to admit, these are sad days we live in which everyone is allowed to have pride for the race in which they are except whites. Instead, we are supposed to be sorry for the actions of others that haven’t affected anyone in the just as many years that they’ve been dead.

However, several people have been sucked into this mindset where we are to be sorry for the mentality of our ancestors and the wrongdoings of others no matter how we, ourselves, have personally acted. Instead, Liberals and progressive ideals have effectively begun to infect society leaving weak-minded white men apologetic for the actions of others.

Dr. David Pook recently informed a crowd as to why he felt it necessary to have a hand in the creation of common core curriculum. Shocking just about everyone in the room, he said, “The reason why I helped write the standards and the reason why I am here today is that as a white male in society I am given a lot of privilege that I didn’t earn.”

As one would expect, the crowd broke out into a series of “oohs,” and laughter before being silenced by the headmaster.

It is truly sad the times we live in which accountability for one’s own actions has been so severely diverted that we must resort to tip-toeing around feelings and beliefs due to imaginarily concocted scheme. I will own up to my wrong doings, and I will take accountability for my own actions, but as to the color of my skin – I am not sorry, nor will I apologize.

I will not apologize for the actions of others that I, in no way, had control over nor could I influence. The world is a tough place – for everyone – and if you want to make it, you’re going to have to work hard. Quit making excuses and get down to it. When you fail, get back up and try again, don’t blame others for something entirely out of their control – the same in which you would expect to be treated.
