Multiple States Bypassing Congress To Stop Obama

As government growth and overreach equally remain far from under control, those left in the wake of its destruction are left trembling over what may come next. As this nation is known for patriots who openly defy tyranny however, many states are banding together with that same mindset to put an end to Obama’s unconstitutionalities.
As the current administration continues to bumble down their unchecked path of mayhem, several states have become quite upset with Congress’s unwillingness to do anything about it. In an effort to remedy this however, they have recently come together to discuss their options.
Apparently they have a few options available to them including nullification and an Article V convention of the states. According to The Capitalism Institute, nullification is the ability in which:
states can stop the overreach of the federal government by determining for themselves if a federal law is compatible with their state’s and the US Constitution. If not, the state can declare the federal law to be null and void, and of no effect, within the borders of their state.
Furthermore, the site defines a convention of the states saying:
A Convention of States is based upon a provision within Article V of the Constitution, which deals with the amendment process. If 2/3 of states submit special applications, they can call for a convention that will propose new amendments to the Constitution through state delegates. If 3/4 of the state legislatures agree on the proposed amendments, they will become part of the Constitution, bypassing both Congress and the President.
Effectively here what they would be allowed to do in essence, is bypass Congress entirely – and seeing how they’re not doing all that much currently, it shouldn’t be too much of an issue – and smack down Obama’s borderline-tyrant dictates as it violates the states individual law.
Cutting off the fingers of those willing to dip into other’s pie (as the First Lady likes to put it) would be a sure way to ensure they pull back a bit. What do you guys think though – will Obama even see the effects of such an effort, or does this type of litigation take too long? Will he even care or will it affect his future decision making process? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
