It seems as though Liberals will go to almost any extent to chastise the Right despite their own longstanding racist and “intolerant” record. Most recently getting their panties in a twist is a video that was released showing Phil Robertson giving a sermon regarding homosexuality during on Easter Sunday.

As you all probably remember, the Duck Dynasty found themselves consumed in controversy after a GQ magazine interview highlighted homosexual remarks Phil Robertson relayed pertaining to the practice in the Bible.

During the interview, Robertson explained that homosexuality was sin, and like all sin, man will one day be judged upon that. Of course, the left took his words out of context and chastised the Christian for likening homosexuality to that of terrorism.

Liberals throughout the country called for the entire Robertson family’s termination and for A&E to cancel Duck Dynasty once and for all. Freedom loving Americans however banded together in order to express that Phil and his family had the right to say whatever they wanted under the First Amendment.

Now however, in an effort to ruffle a few feathers yet again, Liberals have pointed out a video of Phil echoing the remarks he made all those months ago. He was actually speaking about the issue in general, thus the topic was brought up, but Robertson stood his ground.

“The news media didn’t even know it was a verse! They thought I was just mouthing off. “Is homosexual behavior a sin?” The guy asked me. I said, “Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Don’t be deceived,” Phil explained.

He continued by saying, “Neither the sexually immoral, nor the idolators nor adulterers nor male prostitutes, nor homosexual offenders, nor thieves, nor greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.”

So what do you guys think – should Phil be allowed to say whatever he wants (as covered under the First Amendment) or does the Left have the right to demonize the man for his beliefs? Let us know in the comments below.
