Failing Student Gets Special Surprise After Sex with Teacher

A failing student was given an unfair advantage after having a sexual affair with his English teacher.
First-year teacher at Kellyville High School, Kalyn Thompson, was charged with second degree rape after several sexual encounters with one of her 18-year-old students, according to the DailyCaller. In addition to getting an extra-curricular lesson in sex-ed, the failing student also was given a straight A grade of 98% after their encounters started happening.
The affair started through seductive text messages when the student was just 17 years old. Even after being warned to stop contacting the teen, Thompson continued and was even spotted in his vehicle with him around town by other students who took pictures and showed them to school administrators.
Police said that they’re aware of at least two confirmed rendezvous between the pair, one beside a lake and another at the Renaissance Hotel in Tulsa.
Oklahoma’s age of consent for sexual relations is only 16, however there have been special laws created that specifically ban teachers from having relationships with current or former students until they turn 21.
“It’s sad because they’re vulnerable to it and obviously he’s getting a good grade from it,” Creek County Detective Chrissie Underwood said.
Thompson turned herself in on Monday after school administrators reported her relationship to the police. She was released on an undisclosed bond amount and may face more charges.
“She probably will not have a career in teaching after this,” Detective Underwood noted.
