Michael Bloomberg’s group, Mayors Against Illegal Guns, has had a problem with keeping those people on board with what he’s trying to do. Any self-respecting person knows that lies and propaganda are wrong to push an agenda, and that’s why yet another member has withdrawn from supporting him.

According to the Daily Caller, former Republican Governor Tom Ridge has decided that he’s not compatible with Bloomberg’s newest anti-gun group, Everytown for Gun Safety.

“When I signed on as an advisor to Everytown, I looked forward to a thoughtful and provocative discussion about the toll gun violence takes on Americans,” Ridge said through a spokesman.

Bloomberg thought he would be clever by getting Republicans on board with his supposed “grassroots” campaign, however he failed to realize that not everybody is willing to sell out on principles.

“After consultation with Everytown, I have decided that I am uncomfortable with their expected electoral work. Therefore, we have decided that we will pursue this issue in our separate spheres,” Ridge said.

Ridge was appointed to serve on the advisory board of the EGS group, which combined Mayors Against Illegal Guns and former Monsanto executive Shannon Watts’ group Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, another fake “grassroots” organization that relies on fear and propaganda to advance an agenda.

The latest merger was announced as Bloomberg revealed a $50 million campaign to infringe on our Second Amendment rights and challenge the “gun lobby” which he says includes the NRA.

Ridge was a former George W. Bush appointee who was the first Secretary of Homeland Security.

In response to Bloomberg’s latest group, the NRA released an epic ad letting him know that they’re not going to back down from him and his millions of dollars. The ad featured gun rights advocates saying “We’re millions with our $25,” telling Bloomberg that the “gun lobby,” as he and Watts like to call it, is a true grassroots movement with millions of people willing to fight for our rights.
