As many will argue, society has slowly degraded and certain aspects of life that once were enjoyed, have fallen by the wayside. Seeing how the appreciation for music such as classical has almost completely dissolved, it appears that some are trying to bring it back – by twerking.

In an effort to bring back the likes of Bach, Beethoven, and Mozart, B-Classic has launched an initiative to raise awareness for the endangered music style. Calling their competition, “The Classical Comeback” in which they requested, re-vamped versions of the former, celebrated songs.

Hoping to appeal to newer generations, B-Classic is looking for those oldies, touched up with a bit of pop. Needless to say, the results were better than they could have imagined and they were even to get quite the oddity in the mix as well.

A Korean dance group known as Waveya submitted their video in which they use modern dance moves – a.k.a. twerking – to dance to their upbeat remix. The group is known for putting together funny parody videos in which they are seen dancing and have become well known for some of their routines including their rendition of “Gangnam Style.”

Perhaps we should just let the twerking die and we can keep the classical music.
