BREAKING: Obama’s Buddy Says: Buy Insurance For Your Gun Or I’m Charging You $10,000!

President Obama’s gal pal in the House of Representatives, New York Rep. Carolyn Maloney, is pushing a new measure requiring you to have liability insurance—or pay a fine of up to $10,000—before purchasing a firearm.
The bill, H.R. 1369 states: “It shall be unlawful for a person to purchase a firearm unless, at the time of the purchase, the purchaser presents to the seller proof that the purchaser is covered by a qualified liability insurance policy.”
If you want a new gun for hunting, target practice or self-defense, it should not cost you $10,000 plus the price of the gun. Liberals like Maloney do not respect your constitutional right to self-defense (2nd Amendment) or your right to be presumed innocent before proven guilty (5th, 6th and 14th Amendments).
This bill is unconstitutional and another example of how liberals are adept at using the law to control you rather than protect you. If President Obama is truly a constitutional lawyer, he should speak up and defend your right to bear arms, without a hefty price tag. The Constitution is clear: you do not need to “earn” the right to purchase a gun; you are born with this right.
The navy silk jacquard coat and dress that President Obama’s lovely wife Michelle wore to the January inaugural ceremony cost around $10,000. But, for the average American who does not have the wallet of every taxpayer in the nation at their fingertips, $10,000 (or $1.00 for that matter) is too much to pay to exercise natural rights.
